Rip/Create to add deleted scenes

I want to insert some deleted scenes in the appropriate place in the movie. From the little reading I've done I'm guessing I'll have to rip the scenes, rip the deleted scenes then create the DVD with the scenes in the order I need. My question is what would be the best format for the ripping? There are so many available and I don't know which one give the least data loss.

Fab is not designed for such a project.

You need to use a proper video editor such as Adobe Premiere...
