This option in the General options tab works the opposite of what is intended. If checked, I would expect the icon to stay on the systrey when the program is minimized, but instead the icon is removed. On Windows 8 I know of no way to maximize the program again, so I just use Task Manager to kill it. It works correctly when the option is unchecked.
