    Ver 8 versus Ver 9

I currently run DVDFab v8.2.2.9 and noticed there is a Version 9.
Is this a new piece of software to buy, or an upgrade, as mine says I'm using the latest version.
If it's a bought upgrade, is it worth the price as I still have several months to run on V8?
Sorry if this seems a dumb question, but I don't know the answer!

    It's a free upgrade.

You are running the latest version 8. Version 9 is a different product.

You can run both products if needed.

      Hi tomo20000,

Users who have valid license for DVDFab8 can easily upgrade to DVDFab9 for FREE, without paying again.

Please download the latest version of DVDFab9 at . After install you can use your registered account and the password for login DVDFab Member Center () to register DVDFab9.

      How to activate DVDFab9:

          I'm running Ver 8.2.2.6 .

I'm curious about the new version but I'd like to keep V8 on my PC.

How do you download a new version without overwriting/updating an existing version?

Do you pick a different destination folder on your PC vs the default location or does DVDFab's Downloader leave both versions (ie both program folder's) intact on the PC?

I'm guessing that V9 will create its new folder in my (x86) program folder and leave the V8 folder intact.

I checked my PC's Windows 7 "Program Files (x86)" parent folder and I have 2 DVDFab folders present:

          DVDFab 8

          DVDFab 8 Qt

I noticed that the DVDFab 8 folder's created date is March 28, 2011 . I'm guessing that it's something that I no longer need to have on my PC.

You don't need to do anything but install it, it installs in a separate folder and creates a separate desktop icon.
