    Other burn log file

    hi all,
have lost the burn log file from the log folder in the dvdfab program? and as such cannot submit any burn logs when asked to, have checked the diagnosis in general setting and the burn log is enabled. Anybody got any idea how to restore this file to the log folder for use in the future?.
many thanks in advance for any help.
    regards

Fab will make another on your next burn or you can re download the program and Fab will make another then.If you deleted it look in the trash can and restore it.

Check your documents folder, mine has two DVDFab folders. Mine from DVDFab9 wind up in the DVDFab folder? Might check this.

Are you using img burn with Fab if so img burn log is created mine has both.If not their should be a burn file listed with the logs for fab.

Sometimes weird things happen so here's what I want you to try go into fab settings uncheck the box that says enable burning log then check ok on the page bottom close Fab then open Fab recheck enable burning log then check ok close fab reopen Fab and see if burn log is in the list of log files. When you open the log file You do have the internal log listed correct?

            burn log

            hi glenns,
I use dvdfab burner to burn, have tried what you said with no luck. have look at 8qt and all logs show ok, but in 9.0.7.2. only the internal log shows. the burn log and the process log do not. every time you update the program it reloads the hole program does it not so why does it not reload these logs?

Don't know exactly why it happens but know sometimes files don't download correctly all the time sometimes making the program not work correctly also sometimes the installer is at fault.I and some others don't show the (fabcheck internal) file but do have the regular internal and burn logs.So I will also take Fab off then reinstall it to see if fab check internal shows up.

Here's is whats in my fab log file after taking Fab off the computer running cc cleaner file's and registry cleaned redownloaded fab when fab asks to save settings i checked yes then restarted the computer same as before there's no Fabcheck internal file only the regular internal file.

Then I checked fab file where version 8 is and all the files are gone in the log file.Something is wrong as their were files in version 8 file before and i didn't download that version a second time.I did notice their was a lot of fab files in cc cleaner registry cleaner to clean but that was after i took it off the computer so that was expected.

Noticed post count for each person is staying the same I posted 5 times my post count is the same so is Mickeys.

Posting in the same thread does not increase your post count.

I also noticed in version 9 movies are not being put in their folders just added to the list of Fab files.Movies should go into files marked main movie, full disk etc.See the screen shot showing movies converted showing up in the Fab file list.

That's funny I had that checked before i took Fab off the computer now's it's unchecked.I did check the box to save Fab settings.Getting around Halloween here maybe Fab has Ghosts instead of bugs.

Still missing all the logs in version 8 and the fab check internal in version 9 Darn ghosts go away........

Mickey:When you took Fab off your computer did you check save Fab personal settings?

Now if I could find that other ghost theirs no fabcheck internal file for some and some have it.
