Go into your security program and make sure Fab is listed as allowed i don't know this program but their should be settings.Their you should find what programs are allowed.

Make sure your drives firmware is up to date also.

If you didn't change your media brand and have disks from the same spindle of the same brand it's not likely to be the disks. Some company's outsource where they get their disks made so having a new spindle of the same brand disks doesn't mean they were made in the same country or same plant.

You can go back one version and if everything still works post again then we will know if it's your security program.

      Not writeable media.

Thanks for the reply..Firewall was set to allow program. I noticed in DVDFab settings that check DMA and reset DMA boxes do not function. Nothing happens when I click on either button or check box.

        Passkey VS Fab Media Player.

Can someone tell me the different purposes of these programs. I bought lifetime passkey but don't understand usage. Thanks
