Locks up when clicking on the Edit Button or the Advance Settings Button

I've tried installing version 9.0.7.0 and now version 9.0.7.2 on Windows 7 (now upgraded to Windows 8.1) and on Server 2008. Occurs on two different systems with different hardware.

I am trying to rip TV series or movies. Each time I select the item and click on Advance Settings or the Edit button DVDFab freezes. No errors, No log entries, nothing. I have to go to Task Manager and kill the process.

I've tried uninstalling DVDFab completely and then re-installing it. I've turned off (Disabled) PathPlayer hoping that would fix it. I keep having to go back to version 9.0.6.3 which was the latest working copy for me.

Does anyone know why it keeps locking up?

Thanks. The driver update does not apply to my computer. It is a brand new Dell 8700 that came with Windows 8 already on it. I'm having the same problem on my Dell server as well.
