Will not write to blank DVD

Please Help!!!

I am trying to do DVD to DVD. I don't know if it is set wrong, but it successfully copies the original DVD, and than I put the blank DVD in and it does not write to it, or it says single layer please use double layer. It’s almost as if it’s not compressing.

IF you are doing the whole thing with DVDFab, as I do, make sure you have the quality set to 5, and NOT 9.

That's a very good piece of information I got from you. Thanks David. I was looking for an alternative since many days to write some of my stuffs to dvd but wasn't successful. I am glad I found the solution this. I am going see if I can have the work done now.
