2 TB worth minus the formatting space used. If the disks=8.5 gigs each and they contains 8 gigs on each disk 250 will fit but you have to factor in the formatting space as you don't get to use the whole 2TB's.

I have a 3TB drive and formatted it's 2.72 TB that's usable.(340)- 8 gig disks in my case.
