on my previous versions of dvd fab, i have a never expire lic key , when i updated to version 9 it wants me to purchase. WHY, i already did

Because you need to register it differently.

Go to the "Members Area" on dvdfab.com and set up your account.

Please use your email account for purchasing DVDFab products to set up an account in DVDFab Member Center() as GregiBoy said. And then you can use the account info to register DVDFab 9.
