    Absolute Beginner - Apple TV

    Hi all,

I am extremely new at all this so please excuse my lack of knowledge and technical terms!

I have recently endulged in a new 3D Samsung TV. I have all my movies in an iTunes folder that we stream through my Apple TV.

Is it possible to copy the 3D blue ray movies to a file format that apple uses and will play on my tv? I have no need to reproduce disks. If it is, which software do I need?

Thanks in advance for your help :-)

    Hi , Sorted!

You need DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper (3D Plus), this software can help you to convert Blu-ray videos to MP4 or the format that support Apple TV.

    This manual can help you.

      Apple TV - 1080

      Hi Lixichen.

Many thanks for your help, I have purchased the software for the blue ray & DVD.

Can you give me a couple of pointers as to the chest settings, I tried the setting for apple TV 3 but the video quality is not very good (DVD).

I also have a Surround sound system, what audio setting should I use??

Many thanks for your help so far :-))

Be sure to update to version 9.1.2.1 there is a fix specific to Apple TV.

I can see I should have mentioned it!!!

Maybe there will be a relase for the Mac soon :-)

Any guidelines on the settings I should be using??

                  Cheers

The best I can recommend is you start a thread in the mac forum where one of your fellow mac users can give you better advice.
