If I rip a movie as a ISO image as apposed to burning it to a dvd, when I decide to burn it as a dvd what function do I use [full disc, clone etc:] also will it burn the ISO as a Video_TS playable on any dvd player or will it burn as an ISO image. Hope my question makes sense. Thanks for any information you can provide.

You use can use "Write Data" or "Full Disk" and yes it will be playable on a set top player.

Or use ImgBurn which will burn the ISO to a disc.
