Crashes when I try to exit program

I installed Version 9.1.2.2 on Windows 8.1 64 bit and activated with my licence.

Starting the program works fine and I can navigate within the GUI without problems.

As soon as I try to exit the application or if I click on the "OK" button
in "Common Settings" the application crashes and I get the message "DVDFab....has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..."

I can restart DVDFab but it acts as if I am starting it for the very first time.
None of my settings are saved.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Mario

I've not reproduce the crash issue.

Does DVDFab crash every time when you exit DVDFab or click OK on Common Setting?

Try using compatibility settings for windows 7 for Fab.Make sure your drivers are up to date also.

          Drivers are up to date.

I also tried various compatibility settings on DVDFab.exe
as well as "Run this program as an administrator".
          No joy.

          Always exactly the same behaviour.

            Solved

            I did a re-boot and then a re-install.
            That solved it.

Apparently the installation had not worked correctly due to some
other programs running at the time of the original installation.

            Thanks and regards,
            Mario
