Other Reducing Current Library Storage Footprin

I currently have several hundred backup titles across a couple of 2TB drives. Folders/files created using DVD copy to DVD 5 folders. For a variety of reasons, but mainly financial I'd like to reduce down to MKV.

Is there a batch command line process to do this?

I am sure that it's possible using a batch process using the Ripper module but getting it to recursively scan the folders is a PITA.

I just use the job queue and stack up 5-10 jobs overnight.
