My DVD Fab will not boot up

Guys i am having weird problem. My DVD Fab is hanging when you click on it. The only thing I see is the splash screen and it saying connecting to servers and then it becomes non-responsive. This has never happened before so what is going on. Thanks for the help.

Open Fab see pic, then use copy and paste in notepad save it, then use the attachment button to upload it to your post.

That is the problem. FAB will not open. When I click on the shortcut the splash screen with the monkey comes up and that is where it hangs.

What anti virus do you have installed, if Bitdefender it's known to cause problems with Fab?

Please uninstall version 9142 with Fabs uninstaller, download CCleaner found here http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/, run the registry cleaner with the option "old prefetch" checked in advanced options until nothing is found.

Now download version 9143 found here http://www.dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php?g=DVDFAB9_BETA
save it to your download folder, right click the installer and choose install as administrator.

Also make sure that nothing is preventing Fab from connecting to the internet.

Let us know if still having problems

That did not work. It is still hanging requesting access to server on the splash screen.

I do not have anti-virus installed at this time.

You really shouldn't be on the internet without any anti virus you can at least turn on windows defender it comes with windows.

Check your registration in Fab see what programs are licensed.see screen shot.

I agree with my friend, you should have an anti virus software, even if it's the free versions, I use the free Avast.

That's the problem, Fab will not open to check.

Retry 9143 again maybe the server went down for maintenance if no go try version 8 of fab just to see if it's a version 9 problem.

I know I should have anti-virus but I uninstalled it to see if that was the problem.

I thought Fab 8 was no longer supported. Is it on their site somewhere?

Fab 8 gets updates from time to time it should tell you if it's a version 9 problem if it works and version 9 doesn't.Can't hurt to try it.

I tried it and it didnt boot up either. Heck the monkey splash screen didnt come up on Fab 8. Does Fab need Microsoft Net-Framework?
