Need opinions- Burned DVD looks Stretched...

and fuzzy.
I bought a new HD TV and previously DVD Fabbed discs do not look sharp.
What settings do I need to use to make them look high quality and appropriate for my TV? Looked great on old analog TV.
Does it make a difference that I am using DVDFab 6.0.7.0
If so, what's the best free version?

Check your TV's picture format and set to automatic. If set to wide screen the picture might appear stretched out.

Well that version is years out of date if it really is version 6, but yeah I think it's may the way the TV is setup.
