I am using dvdfab 9156 with w8 the question is on some movies I want to clone it asks for a duel layer disk. I was under the impression that if I was using dvd5, I wouldn't need a duel layer. If this is not true is there a way around this problem?

You may need to set the output size here:

A clone is a exact copy of the dvd so if the dvd is 2 layers you need a 2 layer disk if you want a exact clone.

You can use the full disk profile as in 90312's screen shot or main movie profile and reduce in size to a dvd 5.
