Trying to edit profiles
I am trying to play around with the profiles, tweaking them to help fine tune. One thing I am trying to do is increase the ReF Frame value when encoding to H264
I have found the profile, in this case Apple TV 3, and can see that it is referencing another profile file. There are 2 folders with this file. One on the Profile6/Presets folder and another one in the Templates/presets folder.
When I try changing the value it makes no difference to the output file. I have tried changing the value in either file but still no change.
I am using MediaInfo to look a the encoded film when finished.
Which file location should I be using to edit the files, and why is there no difference?
