What does HDCP 2.2 compliant mean to dvdfab. I have my movies backed
up on several hard drives, does this mean I won't be able to stream them
if I buy new components?

Unless you have UltraHD 4K equipment it is not a concern, if you do make sure it is 2.2 compliant. 2.0 can't be made 2.2 compliant currently.
