    Some DVD's fail to copy

I have recently started to have an issue with the DVD Copy feature.

    My procedure:
    • Insert DVD (movie)
    • DVD recognized
    • press start
    • Process completes without error
    • I insert blank DS DVD
    • Process completes with a SUCCESS
    • I press Close
    • I press Finalize
    • I insert disk again to check
    • NOTHING - the disk is blank
    • If I open File Manager and click on the drive it asks if I want to use it like a stick or CD/DVD
    • I eject the disk and visually inspect it - data was written to the disk

This has stared to happen to about half the DVD movies I try to copy. In this instance the movies that failed were - St Vincent, and The Boxtrolls, etc.

Does anyone have an ideas why this is happening.

    Thanks in advance
    Phill

    Hi SquireDude
You will need to post your internal and burn logs for these attempts, otherwise it's all guess work.

Also try the disc in your set top player just to be sure.
