    Best quality for rips

    I've r
Piped a number of my DVDs and blu-rays using dvdfab v9 and it works great but I'm not happy with the quality of the rips. I've tried mp4 a And Mkv files but what are the file types and settings that will give the best results?

This is a Windows 8.1 machine with a fast processor (i5).

If file size is not a consideration then MKV Passthrough is as good as the source, but it is also as big as the source, the A/V is passed to the container uncompressed.
