try cleaning your laser lens on your dvd drive.
check and see if the firmware is up to date for your burner.
try burning your discs at 4x speed.
also try - click (common settings) - (drives) - (dvd write)
and put check mark where it says (set book type to dvd-rom)Last edited by october262; 11-08-2015, 09:54 PM.

Lens clean, always set for dvr rom for +R's firmwar was flashed from a 112D using buffalo to a 112L FW 8.25 years ago, they will read and play ok just wont copy. So what does the invalid address for write mean? I have reinstalled ver 5, 6, 8, 8QT and 9 and all the same won't writePaid Not To Work

using the search box here in the forum, some
say it may also be caused by a slowly dying burner.
or you may have a bad batch of blanks.
go up to where it says search at the top and enter - Power Calibration Area Error
could also try to reinstall your dvd drives.Last edited by october262; 11-09-2015, 12:29 AM.

what puzzles me is that I get the message invalid address for write this happens on fab ver 5,6,8,8QT and 9 so it seems that fab isn't picking the right address to write from but I checked it and it's ok and on the target on ver 9 I have the drive listedPaid Not To Work

Hi Jimbo
Have you tried both burners with the same result?
Give this a read through http://www.megaleecher.net/Fix_Power_Calibration_Error
If using ImgBurn click settings> write> check the box perform OPC before write, see pic.
Hope this helps.
