This may not be the right place to pose this question, but does anyone know if the new NVIDEA Shield Android media player has the dreaded CINAVIA protection chip installed? I'm considering buying one but if it won't replay my backed up BD files from my NAS due to Cinavia then I won't bother. Thanks in advance

you will be safe, cinavia is only affects blurays and dvds.
media players are immune to cinavia protection.
