The initial disc scan takes about 5 minutes to read then goes to copy slowly. The mb/s steadily increases until about 65-70 percent then rapidly declines to a crawl.
Have they a patch update for this yet?

make sure that you are using the registered version
with pathplayer set to always enabled.
please post the dvdfab internal log files.
