With your hardware drivers updated, can you try this to see if you can
switch graphics mode, by clicking on your desktop with the right mouse button, then switch graphic to high perfomance and see if that makes a difference.

You can also look at the below link and see if that helps you:

If you have not updated the video driver in your computer it may be worth a try.

    1. Go to control panel
    2.Click on hardware and sound
    3.Click on device manager
4.Click on display adapters to see the name of your video card
    5. Click 0n the name of your video card and you will see the word driver at the top
    6. Notice the driver date. Click update driver then click search automatically. If it finds a driver with a newer date than it currently shows, you can update it to see if that helps you.

You may also want to go to windows update and install all of the updates since you are still running sp1 right now. I would do that first as that may take care of your problem. I would not accept the update to windows 10 if it tries to give it to you just yet.

one more thing if you haven't tried is to upgrade your video drivers going from xp to win7 is a pretty big jump. just reading your post it sounds like the video is causing a problem you may have to get an update from your video graphic card website or your computer's site support

    Hi dbagger
I understand you're frustrated and I have edited one of your posts, please watch the acronyms in your posts, this is your only warning.

What makes you think it is the program and not your computer??? If it was the program this forum would be lit up like a Christmas tree with members wondering why this is happening.
I believe it is a hardware or setting problem on your computer. My suggestion is to make sure that everything is up to date. Try FileHippo App Manager 1.47 found here

Note: This will not tell you everything that needs to be updated on your computer but, it will be a start.

I always install all my programs as administrator and sometimes also run them as administrator.
To install as administrator right click the downloaded program exe. file and select run as administrator. To run a program already installed right click the desktop icon and select run as administrator.
    Hope this helps

I installed 9307 and got the black screen again. I closed it and reopened the program and everything is fine. If I close it and reopen it again the black screen is back. Any other thoughts

9303 and 04 and 05 had a problem with the interface when booted the body is clear but after I started a DVD it worked fine when i dropped back to a earlier version I don't see this problem.
