I have several dvd's in a video file on my desktop I would like to convert to another format, avi or MP4 and put in USB. Is this doable? I looked in manual but did not really see anything

Not a stupid question at all. The answer to your question is "Yes" Depending on the format of the files you would use the converter module in Fab.
What format are the files???
