I don't see this question posted anywhere...
How do I make a DVD copy from a DVDFAB copy when I don't have the original DVD anymore?
It must be posted somewhere and it went right over my head...

Thank you so much.
It has always been my understanding that if you no longer have the original disc in your possession anymore, the copy should be destroyed.
Just my 2 cents

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

I'm going to play the devil's advocate on this one.
Of course possession of the retail DVD may be proof that you were the purchaser & had a right to create a backup.
On the other hand maybe the possessor stole the retail DVD.
Then there would be no rights purchased.
So just possession isn't proof.
Maybe the possessor purchased the DVD at a yardsale.
That has always been a kind of gray area .
Does the original purchaser have the right to sell & transfer the rights .
What if a person has the receipt of the purchase but no longer has the original DVD?
Maybe the original was stolen from them or damaged beyond use & disposed of.
My opinion is they still own the rights as those were purchased with the DVD.
To complicate it even more .
Here is a scenario that should puzzle the best:
What if 100 people put money in & purchase one DVD .
Each being 1/100th owner of the DVD .
Can each one make a copy ?
Assuming all possess a photocopy of the original receipt.
cholla, we could go back and forth all day, but my previous post is the way I understand the fair use on this forum. The user no longer has the disc in their possession. Read this https://forum.dvdfab.cn/showthread.php?t=122
