I have lifetime license for DVD Fab Copy. I need to have capability to use MKV for my current project which involves Kodi operation. Is it already part of DVD Copy or can it be added? I think it reduces size of files for storage. One company wants to charge $50 to make it available. I am not tech savvy, so hope forum can help. The provider wanting $50 can be found in search for Make MKV, That search also provides description for MKV. Thanks for help or advice. Al

No DVDFab DVD Copy doesn't have conversion capabilities .
As fengtao posted DVD Ripper can do this .
Since you posted MakeMKV .
It should be "freeware" at least for now.
It can convert from a DVD to a .MKV file .
The problem with using MakeMKV for this is it doesn't compress the file size.
The resulting .MKV file will be about the same size as the DVD
That isn't what DVD Ripper will do . The .MKV file it creates will be much smaller than the DVD depending on your settings.
If you need a freeware program to do this there are some available .
Members are not supposed to post software other than DVDFab in most cases. So I won't.
So do some more Goggling if that is what you need.
