Everytime I try to Rip a DVD to my daughters computer it always loads to multiple seperate files that are 1.4gig each.. What setting am I missing to allow a movie to rip to one file?

It's normal for the movie to be broken up into roughly 1 GB files.
Do not attempt to play the files.
Choose the entire folder.
The folder will be comprised of .IFO files, .BUP files and .VOB files.
This is normal.
We recommend VLC as a software player.
It's free and will play darn near anything and does not rely on external codecs.
Simply right click on the folder and select Open with VLC...
or
Open VLC and navigate to the appropriate folder.
Tell us exactly how you're ripping the flick.
To an .ISO?... File Mode? ie., VIDEO_TS FOLDER & AUDIO_TS FOLDER.
Do you know if your hdd is NTFS or FAT32?If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I am using VLC player, my daughters computer is running windows 7(if that makes a difference). THe files are .vob and it is set for VSO burning engin.
WHen I go to VLC I find the folder for the movie but it does not give me the option of playing the folder. I have to open it. Once it is open I have to play by chapters..Comment

Right click on the folder and click on play with VLC.
Do Not go to vlc and then try to find the folder.Comment

Contents of the TS_FOLDER?
With VLC...are you clicking on Media > from the dropdown, click Open Folder or ctrl F?If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Easy boys, I just read the replies.. After reading Grunons reply I did the right click open with VLC and it worked..I then reread Mainemans post and noticed the same intrcutions.. I missed that the first time. No problem. Thanks.
Other Movies I have gotten from friends open on VLC with regular controls not that way.
