Other Cinavia on The Dark Tower

I went through the forums looking for info on The Dark Tower movie, blu-ray. There was conflicting comments so here's my question: When doing the blu-ray copy/MainMovie on The Dark Tower, it came up showing it had Cinavia Protection. Why did it play all the way through on my new Samsung 4k player?

check the book that came with your player and see what it says about cinavia.does your player
have the latest firmware update.

Thanks for your suggestions. I couldn't find anything in the specifications of the 4K Player, however, a sure test was to play a couple movies known to have cinavia, which I did. Evidently, what I thougt was a law, does not apply to 4K players because the 2 other cinavia infected movies played right through.
