I have a whole bunch of 3D ISOs I have ripped and I am converting into MP4 4K SBS with HD Audio for playback on the AppleTV 4K.
My TV can then do the 3D as the AppleTV does not.
Anyway on an 8 core iMacPro I get about 5 hours for each file but I see that not all cores are fully utilised... CPU is at 700%.
I saw there was another thread with a similar issue on Windows that was with DVDs.
I have the ISOs on the internal hard drive of the iMac Pro as that shaves 2 hours off the encode versus when I rip from the disc itself.
Does DVDFab just not see the other hyper-threading core as a CPU so effectively ignores it?
I tried to upload the internal log but it seems the limit is 2 attachments.
Regards
Paul
