Using HD Decrypter?

I am using DVDFab as my decrypter so that I can burn the DVD files on my HDD. After that I am using a different software to convert the files to mp4 files on my computer so my mobile devices and media players can read them. When I start DVDFab it says my DVD to DVD trial runs out mid March. I don't want to be using the DVD to DVD option, I just want the free decrypter program. How do I know if I'm running this? How do I select it (I don't see any options to the left where all the other programs are)?

A search of the forum would show this question has been answered many times.

First it is not burning to your hard drive it is ripping to your hard drive.
For 30 days you are using the full function version.
After 30 days the software reverts to the Free decrypter only.
