erasing bd-re discs

what program you guys use to erase these?
I have a movie on a bd-re disc and my Panasonic DMP-BD60 blu ray player wont read it, wonder why?

I use Nero 9 to erase by BD-r rewriteables... Works great...Bob...

ImgBurn will erase a BD-RE disk.

did not know Imgburn can do that. o.k. looked on Imgburn and can't find how to erase the disc. any help? thanks
