anything to or consideration to creating a copy for backup of itunes downloaded movie ?

I'm not sure about this. Here are my thoughts...
iTunes movies have FairPlay DRM imbedded and the only compatible iTunes formats are mpeg-4 and h264.
I think iTune movies are MV4, which is a protected mpeg-4 .
This is not copy protection that Fab can handle.
The movie has to be in dvd video compliant structure for Fab to decrypt.
You can make a bkup of the iTunes movie, but it'll still be an iTunes movie and won't play in a standalone player unless you use some 3rd party software to break iTunes.If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
