Other UHD Ripper to format type

When I go to rip my collection of Transformers (5 disk set) it automatically assumes to rip it to MP4 vs. MKV. Is this because it has Dolby Vision and MKV doesn't support that? I tried the MP4 and in using a Zappiti server, it really loads very very slowly vs. the MKV files. I saw something that says MKV now support Dolby Vision, does DVD Fab plan to support Dolby Vision on the MKV format?

MP4 - it's considered the most universal video format around, as they can retain high video quality while maintaining relatively small file sizes.

Sorry, not sure how that answered my question. It's just a statement about MP4
