MP4 to dvd conversion

I am a newb, so please bear with me. I need to know if and how DVD Fab can convert mp4 files to a dvd file, so I can watch the videos on my home dvd player. I've spent an hour searching the forums and not found any reference to this issue.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

I have found shareware out there, but it either cuts the video in half or leaves an ugly watermark on the dvd, ruining the whole thing.

DVDFab does not convert MP4 files to DVD file format as you should already own the DVD but they might add this feature later but not sure and have no time table for that
