    Incompatibility Problems with Kodi

I use Kodi to view my online media via an nVidia Shield box. However, I do most of the maintenance of the Kodi database via my Win 10 system. I have noticed that Kodi becomes erratic and often crashes if I am using DVDFab. Today I was doing some maintenance when I put a disk into my computer bluray drive. This prompted a DVD update alert which completely crashed Kodi and, worse, once the update was complete and I closed DVDFab I could still not run Kodi until I had rebooted windows.

Is there some way to prevent the Kodi/DVDFab interractions? Frequently if I am working on my Kodi collection I wish to use DVDFab to add new material. At the very least is there any way of stopping DVDFab from autostarting?

you can click common settings - drives - uncheck all drives, then
restart dvdfab, then you can click on your drive to start copying your discs

Thanks, it doesn't solve the basic incompatibility problem with Kodi but at least now I can't forgetfully crash Kodi in the middle of something big.
