I what to make copies of my kids DVD collection. Most likely I would just copy them to the computer until I need it. Anyother nice feature might be the ability to play them from the computer.

What would I need to purchase? DVD to DVD or something else?

Depends on the type of computer you have and the goal you want now and in the future. Kids might have PSP, Ipod or other video playback that the mobile option could be useful for as well as the DVD to DVD. Give more info and we can answer you to the best of our knowledge
