newbie DVDFab7 trial

I had a trial of DVDFab6 on my laptop a while ago and was going to buy it, but then my computer had work done on it and I lost the trial version. I am now trying a trial of DVDFab7 and was interested in buying it until I ran into a big problem.
With version 6, I was able to use dvd to dvd and burn on to a memorex dvd-r(well once I learned about imgburn I was able to). Now with the trial version I can't...it spits the dvd out almost instantly when I put it in. How can i fix this issue?
The trial of dvdfab7 is non-CSS,which I have temporarily solved with dvdfab passkey and thought i was set until I put in a blank dvd and ran into this problem.
I seem to run into issues and then I can get the trial to work perfectly or at least that was my experience when I had dvdfab6.

The trial of dvdfab7 is non-CSS

You will need to download a CSS version as the non CSS version will not work if the DVD has CSS protection.

I fixed the CSS issue by downloading the passkey...that was my first problem(wouldn't let me even attempt making a copy). my problem is that when I put the blank dvd in to make the copy, it spits it out immediately.

The default location is:

Get rid of passkey and as you have been told, download and install the CSS version. Links are here in this forum

I notice you have Vista SP1 I would suggest installing SP2 from Microsoft as you may be missing some sort of update.
As mentioned please install the CSS version you will find it here http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=4267
