All of a sudden I'm getting an error message of "please select source at first". It's like Fab doesn't recognize there's a disc in the drive.
I've used DVDFab for probably 20 years and this has happened a few times semi-recently. Support just says to un-install and re-install to the latest version. Tried that didn't work (13.0.3.9).
My PC (Win 10 Pro OS Build 19045.5737) recognizes and plays any and all dvd's & BD's, so I don't think there's an issue with the drive. I even turned off the firewall during install and while I'm trying to rip. Plus I can rip with other programs like Movie Resue and MakeMKV.
It seems like this problem started happening after I installed GlassWire as my network security, but as mentioned earlier I have disabled it during install and ripping. But it had it enable while ripping up to now, so I really don't think it's an issue with any anti-virus programs running.
I've played around in Settings/Drives/Read but doesn't seem to make any difference with any various combinations of checking/unchecking.
One thing I notice is in Drives, under [Device] is checked, but there is nothing under [Version], and only the letter "D" under [Serial Number].
I've tried for a few hours, still can't rip a Backup ,or Open Disc.
