A normal DVD burner can not rip Blu-rays right? Just to my PC?
A normal DVD burner is useless for manipulation with Blu-ray. You would need one. However, if you have no intentions to write blu-rays, you my get away with just Blu-ray reader (less expensive). It's enough for you to read Blu-ray disc and rip it on your HDD. You can convert ripped Blu-ray into file for your iPod and/or you can compress main movie to the size of SL or DL DVD (BD5 or BD9) and burn it on blank DVD (DVD5 or DVD9). You still will need a Blu-ray player to play them thoughsigpic
