CPU/GPU Cuda/gpu assistance

I have noticed that it looks like you can use certain Nvidia gpu's to speed up the encoding process.

I'm interested in ripping my Blu-rays so that the file is smaller.

For the guys that have this working is the gpu assistance a significant difference?

Yes but ypu have to be careful on what card & drivers you use.

Ya I went through it and saw some peoples post, but the results seem sort of mixed. It also looks like people just posted what they have , but not much for hard info on what their results have been.
