i need to know what is up with the vso burning engine why is the speed number indicater not showing the correct speed. mine shows 0.8 and that is as fast as shows. but i have it set on 8x.

It's not your burner, it's bug (minor harmless glitch) in GUI. Please don't worry. I would however, suggest you to switch your burning engine from VSO to ImgBurn. Visit this link and learn how:
