    Other HD-DVD support ???

    Hi all,

I have about 20 HD-DVD titles. I would like to get them onto my HTPC (Win7 64bit). I have a dual format player (plays HD-DVD's and Blurays) but know that when it dies, my small collection of HD-DVD's will be coasters.

Does DVDfab support this format anymore?

Anyone have any ideas how I can locate software which will enable me to rip these discs to my HTPC? (yes, I do have an HD-DVD ROM)

    Thanks in advance!

The current version does not but I think version 5 did.

You will have to try it yourself. You can download old versions from

SO the older version DID support HD-DVD?

Looking at my storage drive, I see I still have a copy of the following :

      DVDFabHDDecrypter4120
      DVDFabHDDecrypter5020
      DVDFabHDDecrypter5090

I downloaded the one you linked to as well (DVDFabHDDecrypter5250), but you're pretty sure the older versions will be what I need ?

I wonder if I'm going to face the same problem with software for playing the movies once they are on the HDD ????

      Thanks for the speedy reply!
