Quick question??

Is it common that many people can actually back up a certain movie and others cannot...i.e. Hot Tub Time Machine worked fine for me and I see that others are having an issue. Same thing on Avatar and others too...sometimes they work for me and sometimes they don;t and then I see certain people say that they have no issue with them or that they can;t back up.

Bottom line is this, is it not out of the ordinary that 50% can back up a movie and 50% cannot (just throwing out a random number, no facts to back it up)

It depends on what region they are in. Also some who have problems are using old outdated version of DVDFab. Others are trying to back up scratched or dirty DVDs or bad pressed DVDs which cleaning or exchanging DVD fixes the problem. Now if you are talking about Blu-ray then yes as they can have different BD+ protection on BDs in the same region
