Media issue.

    Media issue.

    I am about halfway through a spindle of dvd-r media and suddenly when dvdfab goes to burn it rejects my media saying it is single layer and to insert double layer media for the burn. Why would it make a difference half way through the supply? Is there something i am missing?

    make sure that you have DVD5 selected as it seems you have DVD9 selected. Also if you was using the trial of DVDFab and 30 days has passed then you are no longer able to burn to that media as the free version does not compress

        Good to know it worked for you and to make DVD5 your default setting you can go into common settings-DVD to DVD of DVDFab and change output size to DVD5 and then click OK. This should keep it as your setting as long as you have Memorize user interface options ticked in comon settings-General
