    DVDFab broke Nero

I installed the eval of DVDFab. During the installation, it flashed up that it was going to install some kind of driver that was missing (I know, I should have taken notes).

When I decided not to keep the product, I uninstalled it but it left my Nero Burning ROM broken and unable to recognize my DVD burner.

I can't find anything in the add/remove programs area (Windows 7 Pro) and none of the drivers in driver manager jump out at me.

The only changes to the system were the installation/uninstallation of DVDFab

downlaod and install ImgBurn. Once installed go to settings-filter drive load order and copy that to clipboard. Then in a post reply to this thread right click the mouse and select paste to paste the filter results to the post

You can re-install Nero over its self and that should take care of the problem.

bownse the filters are fine and you should try what Gruñón mentioned in post #3 as that should fix the Nero not working.

Thanks. I bought Nero BR 10 since I "lost" my v6 info during my Win7 upgrade (back things up, people). V10 doesn't work with DVDShrink, so I have a call out to nero to see if they'll give me a pity copy of the old version as a paying customer of the current one.

ImgBurn works with DVDShrink and if you need help with setting that up you can send me a Private Message and I will explain
