I was trying to use the nero burning rom with dvd fab but I see there is no nerocmd program. I was wondering if there is another way to get these two to work or should I just use the VSO engine?

You could use the VSO burn engine which comes with Fab but, most of us seasoned burners use ImgBurn it is Free and you will find it here along with a tutorial on how to set it up with Fab
