still burning

Hi
I am running windows 7 and in the middle of a burn computer rebooted itself but it feels like it is still burning the movie I had started before. It is running from a external drive through my laptop. I would hate to stop it if it is still burning. Is there a way to check it. I did check task manager it told me nothing.
Is there any help or should I just dump the disc?

If it rebooted it's no longer burning. I would get some additional cooling for that laptop it probably overheated and rebooted.
