I'm not sure i'm gonna sleep tonight ;O)
If it were me, I would have a tall glass of wine, and sleep like a baby.

    error: h264 encode macroblocks per second(33716) exceed the standard(11880), video size(720x400, 29.97), specify profile(0)-level(13)
I have seen this before and will try to find it again!!!

I already try to re-install the v7.0.9.3 with my key and it doesn't work, each time I get a popup to upgrade. Sad....
There is a setting in Fab to disable checking for newer versions
Open Fab Click the Green top right > General > Check for new versions automatically make sure this is not checked, if so uncheck and restart Fab.

I'm not a DVD wiz, but there's more then the movie on the dvd (by the way it's the real Blu-ray version, the first one with the 2 disc in it, the BD and the DVD (region 1),
    This is strange
Have you tried the latest beta as AGJ suggested as it had a fix for Blu-ray Copy:
Fix: A freeze problem when using CUDA H.264 encoder in certain cases.

Not sure if this will help for DVD

        Hi CBR929

Thanks for your help but I already see this tread, and it not working for me, BUT I found where my problem was, I need to update the nVidia driver, and that's fix one of my issue.

BUT I really don't like v8, it use the graphic card to do the conversion and it's very slow compare to v7. (my CPU run at 10% only)

But it's impossible to downgrade to v7, always get a popup that say
The "MP4" feature is available in DVD to mobile. Please check it out at the
        very sad.

Anyway one problem fix, and the Outlook and Trojan issue it only when I try to copy Avatar, I think they (the studio) found another way to f..k with us.

For that I need to apologizes to the DVDFab developers and support team about my accusation. Next time I will investigate a little bit further before jumping on conclusion.

And my fix for the Outlook and Trojan, a good firewall, I try McAfee and Trend Micro, they have very bad firewall, the only one who stop this it's the free one... ZoneAlarm

And if someone have a trick to downgrade to v7, let me know

        Case close

All of the major releases, ie., Fab 2.xxx ---> 8.xxx are separate and distinct apps and are installed in different program folders.
As long as you have the installer(s), you should be able to install any of the other versions.
          Strange stuff on your system.

If you need any of the installers and you can't locate them, let me know and I'll hook you up.

I actually have Fab 4.xxx, Fab 6.xxx, 2 versions of Fab 7.xxx and Fab 8024, all installed and working on my system.
A caveat to multiple installs of a major release...you'll have to change the default, install location on the subsequent installs
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

            Hi maineman

I think why the v7 doesn't work it because I use it for the 30 days trial and now the trial it finish, even with my v8 key, it doesn't work.

Anyway I can live with the v8, it only take 20 mins instead of 10 to copy a dvd not a big drama.

Thanks again for your help and patience

Nah, that's not it...while it may be a regkey issue, the Fab 6 regkey works with Fab 7 and Fab 8.
During Fab 6 the regkeys transitioned to an all-in-one-key available via email.
Recently, regkeys became available via direct download from the
              DVDFab.com > Member > User Center.

Maybe you've already done this, but please download your regkeys > save to your hdd > close > right click and select > open with

              Program files (x86) DVDFab 7 > DVDFab.exe

As one old fart to another, let's hope this will
              git-r-done...
