    DVDFab locking drive

    I make an operation FROM hard disc TO hard disc.

    Why does DVDFab LOCK my drives in that time?

    Can you please switch that OFF? This is very annoying.

    I want to use my drives if the drives are not used in the DVDFab operation!!!!

    I guess I don't understand what you mean when you say "DVDFab is locking my hard drive". Could you explain further please?

      That makes two of us.
      I'm running 5 hdds in my rig and Fab is frequently utilizing multiple hdds...I've never had one "locked".
      If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

        I think this member is talking about the DVD drive being locked up not hard drive.

        @Hajo

        I believe DVDFab locks the drives so you not insert a DVD while you are using the program and the reason for that is because as soon as new source DVD/Blu-ray has been inserted into a drive DVDFab will automatically start scanning it. That I think is why they are locked

          Tough to tell, but I took it to mean HDDs as he stated,
          "I make an operation FROM hard disc TO hard disc."

          but even if he's talking ODDs, Fab doesn't lock drives not in use.
          "I want to use my drives if the drives are not used in the DVDFab operation!!!!"

          Fab allows you to run multiple instances simultaneously...as long as you have sufficient hardware.

            Kinda forgot about that and would make my post useless
